This is a great story that had me hooked from the beginning. Lizzie Sellers has been hooked on Nic Maretti since her cousin's wedding when she was 17. Now at 21 she is in a doctoral program for mathematics at Princeton. She does not have time to date but that does not stop her from letting her trying to get Nic out of her system when she sees him at her brother's wedding. After all, there is no way he can live up to her extremely high expectations that have been building since she was 17.Nic is an extremely successful business man who is used to getting exactly what he wants. For the last four years he has been warned in no uncertain terms that Lizzie is too young and good for him, so he has stayed away. But at the wedding, he changes his plans.
This is an excellent story that is a great continuation of the series. I can't wait to read more!

Loved the characters both the good ones and the bad ones. Waiting for next book about Red Queen.
Great read. So good I hated for it to end. Some romance they had. I know it would be nice to be in love with one man for years
Nice for most people.
This book was great but the title was so bad I almost didn't read it. Seriously, try to look past it and you'll find a memorable romance novel. We all know that's a rarity.
The subtitle caught my eye, and I had to get it. Smart decision
This boom is filled with sexy scenes. Great characters. Nice plot. Action packed. And a whole lot of fun. Lexxi is very talented.
She's sweet, and he doesn't recognize love when he sees it.
This steamy contemporary (bordering on erotic!) romance is the story of Lizzie and Nic. Nic's been waiting for Lizzie to turn 21 and now that she has, he wants to show her how good they can be together, something Lizzie has been dreaming about for years. But will a passionate fling be enough or will they both end up wanting more?
I loved this story! You've got a fabulous combination of sweet virginal Lizzie and suave, charming Nic -but who is really holding all the cards? One might expect it to be Nic, playboy extraordinaire, who goes after what he wants and gets it - yet he gets more than he bargained for when his feelings for Lizzie become ever so much more dangerous than the surface lust he's had for her since she was 17 and off limits. He seduces her handily, and in that is the key to the claiming of his own heart when she seduces him back with her care, understanding, patience and seductive sexual response. Sexual tension exists from the start of the story and continues throughout as Nic makes his play and Lizzie responds. But when all is said and done it's the feelings of the heart that matter and Nic's realization of his true feelings for Lizzie and vice versa make for the sweet side of this romance. I also really liked that Lizzie's intelligence isn't downplayed - she's smart and has goals and dreams that only attract Nic to her more. Family and friends add interesting tension and dynamics to the novel - they aren't all likeable characters, but that just makes for a more realistic story. Incidentally, this is the second book of the Southern Style series, and there is a glossary of characters at the end for those that haven't read book 1 (also highly recommended). Overall I found this to be a very entertaining story, sexy as all get out, character driven in the best way and just a delight to read! I'm highly anticipating the next one in the series. 5 stars!
After reading about Jen and Stefan I was hoping to read more about about Nic and Lizzie. And I got everything I wanted.
Lizzie was the most adorable math genius you could imagine, who has been enamoured with Nic Maretti since she first laid eyes on him. Sharing only a few dances with him at family functions had sealed the deal for her and just anyone else wouldn't do. The sad part is that Nic being older, never paid her much mind. Until he did!
Nic is a brilliant business man who is hard to tie down but faith brought him to Lizzie and sparks flew left right and centre. He has always noticed Lizzie but her being so young was a barrier he never looked beyond. Now that she is "legal" he finds himself attracted.
Lizzie knows about Nic's reputation but it doesn't deter her, she decides to live a little and allow herself something that she has wanted for a very long time - Nic. Steeling herself to the fact that it won't be anything long term, Lizzie dives into a world she has only ever dreamed of. A world of Nic.
The story gets so much more interesting as feelings change and boundaries are tested. Angie does what Angie does and we get to witness them realising their feelings. I have to say I enjoyed every minute of this book. 5 stars!
